Juliette Brindak is the co-founder and CEO of MissOandFriends.com, a website ‘By girls..For girls’. The huge success of the website had made Brindak a millionaire by the age of 19.
When she was 10, Juliette Brindak had came up with an idea for Miss O and Friends. She created a series of drawings of female characters and one of those characters she named as Miss O. Everyone liked her drawings and this kept her encouraged to continue making drawings.
In 2005, Juliette commenced missoandfriends.com, as a by-girls-for-girls website where tweens can come and securely interact with each other, can get advice in a supportive community and play flash games that vary from fashion contests to mini golf and many more. There are 30 people working for the website, including her parents. Since its launch, 250,000 girls have subscribed for its monthly newsletter and the valuation of missoandfriends.com went to millions.
Juliette released her first book in 2006 and which sold more than 120,000 copies. In November 2010, Self-Made Magazine named her as a one of the Top 50 Women Who Inspire Us. In February 2011, she was selected as America’s Coolest College Start-Ups.
Juliette Brindak advices young entrepreneurs to find a great supportive team who will believe in their ideas. She also says that if anyone starts to doubt about your business, just get rid of them. She is an inspiration for girls out there who want to start something new, but hesitateto share their ideas.
